If you are walking down a busy street as a cop with your firearm out for all eyes to see, you might either be indicting fear or clamor. Not all fear is a good fear. Therefore, most cops and agents prefer to carry their firearms discreetly. There are different ways that you can easily carry your firearm without drawing much attention. However, it all begins with your obtaining a Concealed Carry License or permit. Once you have that done, you can now carry your Concealed Carry handgun or other police gears as you wish.

When it comes to carrying a firearm discreetly, the options are literally endless. You can choose to stick to the traditional Outside-the-Waistband (OWB), Inside-the-Waistband (IWB), shoulder, ankle, pocket, small-of-the-back, appendix and belly band options. You can also choose to go down a more non-traditional lane such as carrying your firearm in a fanny pack, briefcase, day planner, or a bra. The options are endless.

Honestly, there is no consensus or rule for concealed firearm carry. If there is any rule of thumb, it would be do what is best convenient for you. It is all a matter of personal preferences. However, there are still two major things that you must take note of when choosing a method to carry your Concealed weapon.

1. Select a comfortable method
2. Select an adequate method

This means that whatsoever method you select, it must first off all be comfortable for you. Then, it must also be able to carry your weapon properly and adequately without any part of it showing. We all have different body build and dress sense. Many of these factors can help you determine the best way for you to carry your firearm and other police gears discreetly.
